Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came to the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. And they entered in, and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. And it came to pass, as they were very perplexed there, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them,
“Why seek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen. Remember how he spake to you when he was yet in Galilee saying, “The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again?”
And they remembered his words and returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest. It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles. And their words seemed to them as idle tales, and they believed them not.
~ Luke 24:1-11 ~
And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the sons of Israel, to the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word to them, and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land. And they told him, and said, “We came to the land where you sent us, and surely it flows with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it. Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there. The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.”
And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said,
“Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.”
But the men that went up with him said, “We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.”
It is written:
And Jesus looking upon them says, “With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.”
God wants us to believe in His Son.
To not believe is death,
a battle lost before it was ever fought.
To believe is knowing God is good,
being happy that He loves you
trusting in His plan.
